Veenendaal City Hall
The expansion of the VeenendaalCity Hall has not only given the city hall a new life, but an entire new face: elegant, monumental, modern and invigorating business-like. Veenendaal residents were quick to coin the spacious atrium between the older construction and the new one their municipal ‘living room’, providing them with a glimpse at the way the municipality is organised. Here they can come for all the municipal services, which after the expansion have been centralised in a single building.
The municipal employees in this building are action-oriented and are encouraged to collaborate even more with one another. That makes the building exceptionally sustainable and future-ready, not only in terms of objectification and energy, but also with regard to the health and satisfaction of its users.
