Inbo offices, Amsterdam
The new office on the Koningin Wilhelminaplein in Amsterdam feels pleasantly informal, while still having a professional look. This is befitting of Inbo. It feels very familiar, as everyone was closely involved in the process. The most popular requests were: focus, choice and sustainability. Each of these was considered and incorporated into the interior.
The sustainable aspect is reflected in the recycling of many materials. There are large “orphaned plants” that were collected from old offices. The acoustic material sprayed on the ceiling was created using old newspapers shreds.
The flock of mugs in the café near the entrance shows that circularity is also about involvement. Together, they symbolise both the individual personalities and the entity of Inbo. And the hospitality for which Inbo stands, of course: Feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee!
