Ganjiang district, Nanchang
As part of the bigger development of the Ganjiang district in Nanchang, this campus for Internet of Things (IOT), Cloud computing and new materials is aimed to become the ‘brain hub’ of the district. With excellent connections to the new CBD, the city center and the airport it has the potential to become a regional knowledge hub for the tech industry.
Inbo’s i-CAM campus assessment tool was used to structure the pre-design development stage. It led to conclusions and recommendations, resulting in the fundament for the design. Phase 1 will be developed into a mixed-use office campus of 72,000m2, including shared facilities and f&b in the plinths, a science museum and a conference center. Phase 2 has a focus on retail and f&b, with apartments, hotel and office space.
The architecture has an overarching coherent expression to ensure the project is experienced as one recognizable hub for tech knowledge. It has a modern, futuristic and open expression to reflect its contemporary working environment and destination for the newest technologies. The aluminium facade is engineered with the latest parametric design techniques.
