Wilco van Oosten
Wilco is an all-round experienced architect. He loves architecture and the city, and he has an eye for the often divergent interests in the tasks he is working on. For Wilco, listening is an important part of his work. With his open and accessible way of communicating, he can bring opportunities and choices to life. Partly because of that he is able to make appropriate and attractive designs.
Wilco was chairman of the BNA Kring Amsterdam-Kennemerland from 2014 to 2017. He regularly teaches at universities. For example at the TU Delft, the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture and earlier at the Bauhaus Universität in Weimar (Germany). He also shares his professional knowledge during guided tours and at design courses for interested people. In the Neprom course for project development he takes care of the architecture part.
M.Arch. Wilco van Oosten (1976) has been working as an architect at Inbo since 2005, and became partner in 2017.
Study: Wilco previously worked for Drftwd Office Associates and freelanced for various agencies. He graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. During his study he also worked on international projects in India, Italy and France.
